Senior Cloud Engineer SME

Job Description

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer SME to join their team in Reston, Virginia. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, delivering secure features through applications, services, and consulting. He/she will possess strong troubleshooting and communication skills to engage with customers and provide technical expertise. The role involves impactful projects that drive mission success.Role involves:

• Delivering highly secure features through applications, services, and consulting.
• Creating new environments, coordinating with outside groups.
• Handling architectural and security design.
• Maintaining numerous cloud environments, including container maintenance (Kubernetes).
• Participating in technical engagement meetings with customers.
• Offering expertise on the project’s service offerings.
• Supporting the deployment of services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in cloud engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in both Azure and AWS Clouds.
• Experience with containerized workloads (Kubernetes, EKS).
• Experience with coding languages such as Python and Java.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
