Vulcan is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Taipei. Vulcan's mission involves ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of Generative AI for organizations globally. The Software Engineer will contribute to building advanced tools like Vulcan Protect and Vulcan Attack. They will work across the full stack using a modern tech stack, collaborating with AI security experts to address challenges in security, compliance, and reliability. The role emphasizes writing high-quality code, participating in design reviews, and shaping products to enhance the safety and intelligence of GenAI adoption.
What this role involves:
- Building and maintaining features for Vulcan’s products.
- Writing clean, efficient, and testable code for frontend and backend systems.
- Collaborating with team members during design and code reviews.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Contributing to documentation and keeping it current.
Requirements:
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Experience in frontend development with languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for learning.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Basic proficiency in English (B1 level).
