Associate Software Backend Engineer, Cymetrics at OneDegree

Cymetrics is seeking an Associate Software Backend Engineer to join their team in Taipei, Taiwan. Cymetrics specializes in cybersecurity assessment SaaS platform and their clients span diverse industries such as government, finance, manufacturing, high-tech, and e-commerce. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining backend services to ensure system stability and performance. He will contribute to system architecture design, follow best practices in the software development lifecycle, and conduct code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend services.
• Participate in designing system architecture.
• Perform regular code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in backend development, preferably in Java with Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and database operations.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of unit testing and testing frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Good communication skills.
