Software Engineer (Content Management) at SmartAsset

SmartAsset is seeking a Software Engineer to join their content management team. The engineer will collaborate with a team to deliver software, build and maintain enterprise technology solutions, and partner with the product team to streamline content creation and delivery. They will integrate with third-party tools, design content management architecture, and identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of software.Responsibilities:

• Engage in collaborative team environment
• Build and maintain full-stack enterprise technology solutions
• Partner with Product team to streamline content
• Integrate with third party tools and internal Data teams
• Partner with architects to design enterprise Content Management architecture
• Identify opportunities to adopt new technologies

Skills/Experience:

• 4-6 years experience building full-stack web applications
• Experience building, shipping, scaling and operating Java web applications
• Strong experience with ReactJS frameworks
• Proficient with SQL
• Experience using or integrating headless WordPress
• Strong knowledge of Git or other source control tools
• Experience designing complex cloud solutions based on AWS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge or experience with the NextJS framework and GraphQL
• Experience working with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely
• Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Experience with ad serving platforms such as DFP
