Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance their team. The ideal candidate will focus on developing and maintaining infrastructure for cybersecurity and national security research. This role requires a problem-solving mindset and adaptability, contributing to innovative solutions within the Electronic Systems business unit.Role involves:

• Automating development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining test environments.
• Developing dashboards for real-time status updates.
• Maintaining and enhancing CI/CD systems.
• Collaborating with development, cybersecurity, and systems teams.
• Identifying and implementing automation opportunities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with DevOps or infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Packer, or Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, or Hyper-V).
• Comfortable with network engineering, such as configuring switches and routers.
• Understanding of Linux environments and command-line tools.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across hardware and software domains.
• Ability to work at the Arlington, Virginia headquarters with occasional travel to Laurel, Maryland as needed.
