Dcard, a popular social media platform among young people, is seeking an Associate Marketing Specialist to join their Hong Kong team. The company values creating a space where individuals can share their stories freely. The new member will be responsible for marketing initiatives and collaborations in the Hong Kong market.

The role involves collaborating with Advertisement and Community teams to enhance Dcard's presence among young Hongkongers.

What This Role Involves:

  • Developing and executing marketing strategies for the Hong Kong market, including online video and offline events.
  • Conceiving and producing video projects, potentially serving as a host.
  • Creating integrated marketing proposals for advertising clients.
  • Initiating partnerships with brands and KOLs to enhance brand value.
  • Developing and managing a long-term social media strategy.
  • Handling other marketing tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese and fluency in English.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and quick to learn, with adaptability to change and strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of Hong Kong internet user habits and university student community culture.
  • Ability to independently develop short- to medium-term marketing strategies and propose creative ideas.
  • Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and resource management.
  • Experience as a social media editor and familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Xiaohongshu, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Telegram, and WhatsApp.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools such as Canva, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
