Job Description

Alpaca, a US California-headquartered brokerage infrastructure technology company, is seeking a Fixed Income Trader & Operations Associate II. This role is crucial for managing and expanding the firm's fixed income product offering. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of fixed income products, including U.S. Treasuries Bonds, Bills, and Corporate Bonds.Alpaca's globally distributed team is dedicated to opening financial services to everyone. • Oversee all aspects of the Fixed Income Product Offering.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including trade execution and settlements.
• Partner with internal teams and external partners to create workflow documentation.
• Streamline trading and operational workflows using the firm’s technology.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement of the product offering.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in the fixed income industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the fixed income space.
• Experience with clearing and settling Fixed Income products through FICC.
• Experienced in SQL and Google Suite.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Series SIE, 99, and 57, 24 preferred but not required.
