Senior DevOps Engineer at Alpaca

Alpaca, a US-based brokerage infrastructure technology company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and develop its large-scale cloud infrastructure. This role is crucial for maintaining low latency and reliability, forming the foundation of Alpaca and empowering millions of users. The Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with software engineering teams, focusing on cloud infrastructure maintenance and supporting infrastructure layer applications.Responsibilities Include:

• Management of PostgreSQL database clusters.
• Management of Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure service components.
• Management of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
• Participate in alert monitoring and dispatching engineering team requests.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL replication and performance tuning.
• Significant production experience with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in PostgreSQL, K8s, and cloud environments.
