Finance Manager at Muck Rack

Muck Rack, is seeking a Finance Manager to join its European entity. The Finance Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations of the company and will report to the Head of Finance based in the US,

What this role involves:
• Leading the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and Irish GAAP.
• Maintaining high standards of financial control and reporting.
• Providing hands-on support across all aspects of the finance function (AP, AR, bank reconciliations).
• Managing relationships with external accountants in Ireland, the UK, and Bulgaria.
• Coordinating and supporting year-end audits and ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Collaborating with the US-based finance team.
• Leading and mentoring finance team members.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial role with at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant or leadership role
• Global finance experience at a company acquired by a US-based organization
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Irish GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience working with external advisors and auditors.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP platforms, Excel).
