Manager, Research Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Job Description

Arizona Liver Health is seeking a Manager, Research APPs to oversee a team of Advanced Practice Providers/Clinicians. This role involves managing patient care in clinical trials, performing medical reviews, and collaborating with research staff. The manager develops and implements research protocols, analyzes data, and provides guidance to APPs.Responsibilities include:

• Performing patient evaluations and reviewing medical records
• Educating patients on therapeutic options
• Managing the care of research patients per clinical protocol
• Overseeing patient care in clinical trials
• Completing detailed reviews of documentation and informed consents

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or Graduate Degree preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program from an accredited institution required
• Current and active licensure/certification as an Advanced Practice Provider
• Experience in managing research projects
• Knowledge of research methodologies and statistical analysis
• Previous outpatient hepatology/gastroenterology experience preferred
• At least (7) years experience working in a research center, clinic or hospital setting as an NP or PA
