Backend Software Engineer at Capital on Tap

Capital on Tap is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative credit card and payment solutions for small businesses. The Acquisition, Credit, Decisioning, and Compliance team (ACDC) is responsible for software systems used throughout the application and onboarding process for new customers. The role involves building robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology, partnering with Product Managers and QA, and ensuring regulatory adherence and a secure customer experience.Responsibilities include:

• Building robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology
• Owning the SDLC, from the first line of code to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Partnering with Product Managers, QA’s, and fellow Software Engineers
• Building unit and integration tests
• Troubleshooting bugs
• Bridging the gap between tech speak and business goals

Requirements:

• 3+ years hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core, SQL Server
• Good testing practices, in both Unit and Integration testing
• Good understanding of database technologies
• Experience in using Agile development practices
• A passion for learning new skills and technologies
• A proactive, supportive, and collaborative team player
