Backend Software Engineer at Capital on Tap

Capital on Tap is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their Internal and Core Systems (ICS) team. The candidate will help to build the best credit card and payment products for small businesses. This role involves improving, refactoring, and maintaining complex processes, as well as transforming critical system components.

Responsibilities:

• Build robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology.
• Own the SDLC from coding to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Managers and QA’s.
• Build unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot and tweak code as needed.
• Bridge the gap between technical and business goals.

Requirements:

• 3+ years hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core, SQL Server
• Good testing practices, in both Unit and Integration testing
• Good understanding of database technologies
• Experience in using Agile development practices
• A passion for learning new skills and technologies
• A proactive, supportive, and collaborative team player
