QA Engineer at Capital on Tap

Capital on Tap is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both manual and automated testing and will contribute to best practices throughout the SDLC. The QA Engineer will work closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to provide governance and oversight of the quality of the products developed by Capital on Tap. The role also involves running POCs to help improve various aspects of QA.

Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the development of automated test scenarios.
• Driving continuous improvement and implementing enhancements to test processes.
• Investigating user problems and creating bug reports.
• Performing hands-on testing from a technical standpoint.
• Supporting engineering colleagues to promote team-wide testing responsibility.
• Prioritising tasks and managing workload effectively.
• Reviewing design proposals and recommending improvements.

Requirements:

• Software quality assurance experience with web and mobile applications.
• Experience developing tests for functional and regression testing.
• Understanding of risk, impact, and dependencies.
• Experience with C# or similar OOPs languages.
• Experience with JavaScript/Typescript.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Proficient in SQL Server queries and scripting.
