Data Engineering Manager at LeddarTech - Envision the road ahead!

LeddarTech, a company specializing in AI-based low-level sensor fusion and perception software, is seeking a Data Engineering Manager. The company's solutions enable the deployment of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving (AD) and parking applications. LeddarTech's automotive-grade software, LeddarVision™, generates precise 3D environmental models for improved decision making and navigation safety.

The Data Engineering Manager will lead and scale the Data Engineering & DevOps teams, driving data infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines for LeddarTech's AI perception solutions. This role involves defining and executing the Data Engineering & DevOps strategy, optimizing infrastructure and data pipelines, and providing technical leadership to the teams.

Role Involves:

• Defining and executing Data Engineering & DevOps strategy
• Optimizing infrastructure, data pipelines, and automation
• Leading and mentoring Data Engineering and DevOps teams
• Collaborating with AI, Perception, and Software teams
• Aligning with Product, IT, and Engineering on technical needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years in a leadership role within data engineering
• DevOps leadership experience (strong advantage)
• Experience in regulated industries (automotive, medical, avionics) – Advantage
• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Cloud expertise (GCP preferred)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and large-scale data architectures
• Experience with high-availability, real-time processing systems
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
• Ability to translate technical challenges into business solutions
