Cinematic Director at Guerrilla

Guerrilla Games is looking for a Cinematic Director to join their team in Amsterdam. The Cinematic Director will lead the development of cinematic sequences from concept to final integration, ensuring alignment with the story vision and gameplay experience. The director will work closely with the Animation and Technical teams to troubleshoot and maintain high-quality output, and provide direction on camera movement, composition, lighting, and character performance to create emotionally impactful scenes. They will also mentor and guide the Cinematics Team.

Role Involves:

• Leading cinematic sequence development.
• Directing visual style and pacing.
• Overseeing the production pipeline.
• Directing camera movement and lighting.
• Mentoring the Cinematics Team.
• Participating in motion capture sessions.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of cinematic direction experience.
• Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling.
• Experience with motion capture direction.
• Expertise in camera work and lighting.
• Familiarity with software like Maya or MotionBuilder.
