Backend Engineer - Golang (d/f/m)

Job Description

Topi is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their team and revolutionize B2B hardware procurement. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a diverse and driven team of product-minded engineers across Germany, UK, and Spain. Responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain high-performance APIs using Go, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to develop products and solve challenging problems.
• Create simple, scalable solutions to complex technical issues.
• Integrate with both internal and external services.
• Drive technical discussions and consistency through pull requests and team reviews.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of features, from concept to production.
• Continuously learn and improve skills, contributing to the team culture and best practices.

Requirements include:

• Commercial experience writing Go, particularly for API development.
• Experience building and maintaining high-performance APIs in a production environment.
• Champion best practices for performance, security, and privacy.
• Experience integrating with both external and internal services.
• Eagerness to learn beyond backend development, exploring areas like data, infrastructure, or frontend.
• A product-driven mindset and focus on delivering real value to customers.
• Effective communication skills in English, with German as a plus.
