Brand Designer

Job Description

Metalab is seeking a Brand Designer to lead the brand design process from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of brand design, delivering exceptional, product-ready brands for Metalab's diverse clientele, ranging from early-stage startups to global enterprises. This role requires managing the brand process effectively using remote-friendly methods.

The role involves:

• Guiding the brand design process from start to finish.
• Creating inspiring and relevant brands that enhance products.
• Assisting the product team by crafting stunning, product-ready brands.
• Educating and informing stakeholders on brand design best practices.
• Translating design output into actionable assets and documentation.
• Guiding clients through a rigorous yet agile branding process.
• Being accountable for timelines, deliverables, and output.

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience designing visible products and brands.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Comfort working independently or in a team, communicating with stakeholders, and collaborating with Product Designers.
• Experience in highly iterative teams with open communication.
• Passion for storytelling and effective communication of concepts.
• Confidence in leading brand exercises and sprint reviews.
• Adaptability and enjoyment in evolving work processes.
• Active participation in feedback sessions.
