Senior Data Scientist at Kronos Research

A Senior Data Scientist is needed to join a new Data Science team focused on extensive research across the crypto market and blockchain. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the research direction and productivity within a successful proprietary trading firm.

Responsibilities:

• Data Sourcing: Identify high-quality and relevant data, creating tickets for the data team.
• Data Accessibility and Usability: Develop tools and platforms for visualization and exploration.
• Identify Patterns and Trends: Apply statistical and ML techniques to analyze data and detect patterns.
• Research and Development: Stay updated on advancements in data science and the crypto industry.
• Benchmarking: Evaluate and improve models against state-of-the-art techniques.
• Performance Metrics: Develop metrics and dashboards to track the performance of trading strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in data science, 2 years in leadership roles
• Master’s degree in EE, CS, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
• Background in large-scale data processing and analysis
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Experience in modeling and forecasting, especially time series analysis (NLP)
• Experience in developing clear model architecture, with an emphasis on code quality
