US Dodgshun Medlin is seeking a Paraplanner/Associate Planner to join their team in Swan Hill. The role offers the opportunity to work with farming families and sophisticated investors, providing wealth strategies and financial advice within a multidisciplinary team. The company provides depth in all the professional services specialties – accountancy, tax, business improvement and support, finance, risk, wealth improvement and more – underpinned by an outstanding team of in-house agronomists.
This position is ideal for someone with country roots or an affinity for the land, who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career. The role does not involve selling, as growth is organic through agronomy and accounting divisions.
Role Involves:
- Research, modelling, documentation, and preparation of applications
- Coordination, communication, attention to compliance, and record keeping
- Client facing and relationship building
Requirements:
- FASEA accredited or nearing qualification
- 3+ years’ experience
- Working knowledge of platforms, investment instruments, superannuation and insurance
- Willingness to base in Swan Hill
- Experience/interest in working with primary producers and regional businesses (desirable)
- SMSF and gearing accreditation (desirable)
- Direct equity, aged care, Centrelink and X-PLAN experience (desirable)
