Senior Product Designer (m/f/d)

Job Description

AutoScout24 is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their B2B team. The Product Design team ensures the creation of the right products to delight customers. The Senior Product Designer will work in a dynamic, collaborative, and hybrid environment, with meetings in the Munich or Berlin office twice a week.

What this role involves:

• Leading and overseeing the user experience of a product from conception to launch.
• Having end-to-end responsibility for a specific product design experience.
• Contributing to strategic decisions around the future direction of AutoScout24 products.
• Translating analysis and research insights into new ideas and concepts.
• Facilitating strategic conversations and meetings to drive progress against goals.
• Representing design in various forums with product and engineering teams.
• Constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Actively contributing to the design community.

Requirements:

• +5 years of in-house experience as a Product Designer in a software development environment for e-commerce/marketplaces or similar.
• Strong UX design skills showcased in your portfolio.
• Experience in mentoring less seasoned designers, as well as strong communication & facilitation skills, written and verbal.
• Critical eye for high-craft design and desire to challenge the status quo and aim for UI excellence.
• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions.
• Experience working directly with Visual and Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Writers.
• Experience developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company.
