Senior Data Scientist at GoFundMe

GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Marketing Data Science team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. This role involves working with a team to provide insights and advanced analytics to improve business performance.

The responsibilities for this role include:

• Leading the design, analysis, and interpretation of marketing analytics projects.
• Collaborating with marketing leadership to develop and monitor KPIs.
• Driving marketing experimentation and A/B testing.
• Applying advanced analytics and data science methods to measure marketing attribution.
• Identifying and disseminating best practices in terms of marketing analytics tools.
• Partnering cross-functionally with Growth, Product, and Finance teams.
• Working closely with data and engineering teams to design scalable data pipelines.
• Contributing to ELT processes as needed.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing data science, growth analytics, or data science with a focus on digital marketing, attribution, and customer lifecycle analysis.
• A Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field is a plus.
• Experience with statistical and machine learning methods to optimize marketing campaigns.
• Expertise in formulating and executing multivariate and A/B testing.
• Advanced experience using Python for statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and marketing performance forecasting.
• Deep experience with SQL for writing scalable data transformations.
• Ability to prioritize and manage business requests.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, attribution models, event tracking, and database architecture is a plus.
