Senior Security Engineer

Job Description

GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role involves building a secure platform for giving and collaborating with engineering teams on security matters. The Senior Security Engineer will conduct application security assessments, handle vulnerability reports, assist with secure coding training, and participate in security incident response. This position requires in-office presence 2-3 times a week.Responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular application security assessments.
• Collaborating with engineering teams on architecture decisions.
• Handling application vulnerability reports.
• Assisting with the delivery of secure coding training.
• Participating in security initiatives and incident response.

Requirements include:

• 3+ years of experience designing and building secure systems.
• Experience with OWASP Top 10 and industry standards.
• Experience with mobile application security and security testing.
• Understanding of web application architecture and design principles.
• Experience in secure code review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
