Job Description
GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. GoFundMe is the world’s most powerful community for good, dedicated to helping people help each other. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Backend Engineers.
  • Lead frontend development and contribute across the full stack.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers.
  • Drive the development and shipment of new features.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot engineering issues.
  • Identify technical debt and propose solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in developing web applications.
  • Experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Ability to translate designs into responsive web applications.
  • Experience with frontend testing methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of client-side performance analysis and optimization.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with application performance monitoring (APM) and log analytics tools.

Nice-to-have Qualifications:
  • Experience with backend development, particularly using Java, NodeJS or Kotlin.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with GraphQL APIs.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and utilizing observability tools (monitoring, logging, alerting).
  • Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, specifically using GitHub Actions and merge queues.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes / K8s), and cloud platforms (AWS).
