GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join their Incubation and Network Effects teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting people and their networks to GoFundMe's and Classy's causes. This role is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Back End Engineers to develop features and improvements to GoFundMe.
  • Working across the frontend primarily and occasionally on the full stack.
  • Participating in code reviews to maintain internal standards.
  • Building and shipping new features with minimal guidance.
  • Participating in on-call rotations to troubleshoot urgent issues.
  • Addressing technical debt and advocating for codebase improvements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience developing customer-facing web applications using a component-based frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js).
  • Experience turning mockups into responsive web applications using UI design systems and CSS frameworks.
  • Proficiency with code quality and testing tools (ESLint, Jest, Playwright).
  • Experience with client-side performance and optimization.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Experience with application performance monitoring and log analytics tools.
