Risk Analyst I at GoFundMe

GoFundMe is seeking a Risk Analyst I to join their Trust & Safety team in Warsaw. The Risk Analyst I will play a crucial role in ensuring the platform remains safe for donors and beneficiaries. This involves maintaining consistency, mastering new techniques, and using technologies to mitigate financial crimes and abuse.

The Risk Analyst I responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality email and occasional phone support to ensure fundraiser authenticity.
• Conducting customer due diligence reviews.
• Evaluating fundraiser and account attributes for unusual activity.
• Conducting due diligence on organizations.
• Supporting the Trust & Safety team during global crises.
• Working cross-functionally with various teams to ensure fundraiser legitimacy.
• Fielding questions related to customer due diligence.
• Developing a deep understanding of trust and safety issues on the platform.

GoFundMe requires that Risk Analyst I has:

• 1-2 years of related work experience in trust & safety, payments compliance, and/or risk management operations.
• C1 fluency or higher in English.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
