Senior iOS Engineer - Contractor at Goodnotes

Goodnotes is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer Contractor to join its core mobile team. The engineer will help to plan and drive new initiatives. The company believes in merging human creativity with AI and is empowering users in productivity and learning.

The role involves:

• Building and owning the lifecycle of user-facing features.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA).
• Continuously improving development practices.
• Improving release process, application architecture, and developer experience.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Swift programming; SwiftUI knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Problem-solving, communication, and storytelling skills.
• A love of software craftsmanship.
• Desire for self-improvement.
• Shipped one or more iOS apps.
• Experience cross-compiling codebase on different mobile platforms (Big plus).
