Job Description
Isar Aerospace is seeking an Avionics Engineer to join their AGNC-Avionics team in Ottobrunn, Bavaria, Germany. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and verifying Spectrum’s Avionics systems, with a focus on the Radio Frequency system. He will be responsible for developing, testing, and operating Radio Frequency subsystems, managing technical interfaces, and taking ownership of relevant avionics units.He will work across the team on adjacent fields, developing technical solutions, implementations, and test setups. Interdisciplinary tasks, continuous improvement of units and test rigs, and supporting colleagues will be part of his daily tasks.Role involves:
  • Designing, qualifying, and testing Radio Frequency units/subsystems.
  • Defining/reviewing requirements of RF units and associated test plans.
  • Executing environmental qualification & acceptance test campaigns.
  • Performing on-field Avionics tests campaigns.
  • Working on various electronics design and test related ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or comparable.
  • Exceptional knowledge of radiofrequency systems and wireless communications.
  • Enhanced knowledge of RF design principles.
  • Good knowledge of analog & digital electronics.
  • Experience with testing operations.
  • Good knowledge of automation principles & electronic test setups.
  • Fluent in English.
