Job Description

Isar Aerospace is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to be responsible for the structural analysis of rocket assemblies. The engineer will play a crucial role in guiding design decisions, improving analysis workflows, and ensuring structural integrity.

Role Involves:

  • Performing stress analysis of aerospace structures using hand calculations and FEM.
  • Identifying failure scenarios and optimizing structural designs.
  • Analyzing manufacturing non-conformities and providing solutions.
  • Developing test plans and supporting physical testing.
  • Preparing stress analysis reports and documentation.
  • Improving standards and toolchain for structural verification.
  • Providing technical mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in analyzing aerospace structures.
  • Profound knowledge in hand-calculations and FE Modelling.
  • High degree of independence and confidence in assessing design risks.
  • Strong engineering intuition regarding load paths and failure mechanisms.
  • Fluent English.
