Job Description
Isar Aerospace is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to be responsible for the structural analysis of rocket assemblies. The engineer will play a crucial role in guiding design decisions, improving analysis workflows, and ensuring structural integrity.
Role Involves:
- Performing stress analysis of aerospace structures using hand calculations and FEM.
- Identifying failure scenarios and optimizing structural designs.
- Analyzing manufacturing non-conformities and providing solutions.
- Developing test plans and supporting physical testing.
- Preparing stress analysis reports and documentation.
- Improving standards and toolchain for structural verification.
- Providing technical mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in analyzing aerospace structures.
- Profound knowledge in hand-calculations and FE Modelling.
- High degree of independence and confidence in assessing design risks.
- Strong engineering intuition regarding load paths and failure mechanisms.
- Fluent English.
