Job Description
Click Therapeutics is seeking a Business Development Director to extend the company’s technology platform. The director will source deal opportunities, structure business deals, and close transactions.Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage a pipeline of deal opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end deal processes, including sourcing, diligence, structuring terms, and driving negotiations.
  • Expand Click’s partnering presence in the industry.
  • Contribute to broader business development strategy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent Click at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the science underlying Click’s mechanisms of action.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, clinical news and deal activity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required; Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MBA) preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in life sciences industry required.
  • Out-licensing experience to pharma / biotech industry strongly preferred.
  • Investment banking experience also acceptable.
  • International or cross-border experience a plus.
  • Strong grasp of the fundamentals of pharmaceutical drug discovery, development, and commercialization.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated hunter.
  • Track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnerships with positive results.
  • Extensive network of healthcare industry contacts.
  • Ability to relate and work with wide range of colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Superior problem-solving ability.
  • Superb writing and communication skills.
  • Adaptable to a dynamic atmosphere of changing requirements and scope.
