Property Valuation Analyst at HomeLight

HomeLight is seeking a Property Valuation Analyst to join their team. This role is based in the Philippines and offers a fully remote, permanent work-from-home setup. The Valuation Analyst will play a crucial role in mitigating risk for HomeLight and its investors by ensuring accurate property valuations.

The Property Valuation Analyst's responsibilities include:

• Running property analyses using objective data and qualitative feedback.
• Communicating potential risks and recommending the best path forward.
• Identifying ways to improve the valuation process for increased efficiency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience in a startup environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Apps.
• Experience in data analysis.
• Sound understanding of price discovery / demand-supply dynamics.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt to new processes.
• Confidence in opinions, but willingness to change them as new information is received.
• Ability to communicate thought processes clearly.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• A positive attitude in stressful situations.
• Ability to effectively multitask and reprioritize a daily task list.
• Knowledge of how residential real estate gets transacted.
• Prior experience with valuing or buying US residential real estate is a plus.
