The role is hands-on, requiring the candidate to balance strategic IT initiatives with daily support, ensuring smooth technology operations. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a US-based company, managing IT assets, handling software contracts, and providing IT support.
What the role involves: - Overseeing IT support and managing incoming IT tickets.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implementing and enforcing IT security best practices.
- Leading and mentoring a small team of IT Analysts.
- Managing laptop inventory and software licenses.
- Handling vendor and contract negotiations for IT services.
- Leading and executing IT infrastructure projects.
- Improving IT ticketing systems and knowledge base documentation.
Requirements: - 7+ years of IT operations experience with team management.
- Experience working for a US-based company, supporting employees across different time zones.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows, macOS, cloud-based tools, endpoint security, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with IT ticketing systems.
- Experience managing hardware procurement, software contracts, and IT budgeting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work US business hours and support a remote/hybrid workforce.
