Backend Engineer - Ruby (Multiple Openings) at Salsify

The role involves innovating and improving Salsify's products to deliver a platform and experience customers love. The engineer will solve complex business and scalability problems, define product direction, and work across the Salsify technology ecosystem.

What this Role Involves:

• Building and shipping production-grade software.
• Developing and launching new features.
• Collaborating with product managers and UX designers.
• Sharing expertise and influencing engineering strategies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more server-side languages (preferably Ruby).
• Experience building consumer-facing applications in a SaaS or product-based company.
• Experience with contemporary frameworks, build tools, and testing tools.
• Knowledge of building scalable and performant applications.
• Interest in exchanging ideas around building robust, secure, maintainable software.
• Comfort providing and receiving feedback.
• Experience working as part of a distributed team.

• Experience or interest in building data analytics products and/or working with data.
