Senior Devops Engineer at Salsify

Salsify, a leader in helping brands win on the digital shelf, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Global Infrastructure team. The role involves providing Salsify with the infrastructure, services, and tools necessary to efficiently scale the platform and support the growth of the engineering organization. This includes working closely with software engineering teams across all phases, from design to development and maintenance, and solving complex scalability problems.Salsify values its engineering culture, emphasizing trust, mentorship, and collaboration. • Developing infrastructure automation and management solutions
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions that empower engineering
• Delivering internal infrastructure services such as monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Expanding and enhancing our Kubernetes-based application environment

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Experience with orchestration platforms, such as Temporal.io
• Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure Management systems such as Terraform
• Skill in writing testable, maintainable software with a programming language like Go, Ruby, or Python
• Knowledge of core Cloud Hosting concepts and experience with at least one Cloud Hosting platform (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with container-based runtimes and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts
• Experience with the GitOps and Infrastructure as Code concepts
• Working as part of a distributed team
• Excellent written communication skills
