IT Administrator at Salsify

Salsify, a key leader in the commerce infrastructure industry, is seeking an IT Administrator to join their IT team in Lisbon, Portugal. Founded in 2012, Salsify supports brand manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in over 80 countries. The IT Administrator will be a part of a global team, supporting the Portugal region and collaborating with colleagues worldwide in a hybrid work arrangement.

The role involves supporting employees and ensuring the smooth operation of Salsify's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Administer critical SaaS solutions, to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
• Manage and support Mac systems using Jamf Pro, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
• Provide exceptional technical support to employees, addressing their service requests promptly and resolving IT issues they may encounter.
• Maintain in-office equipment, including Zoom Rooms and Meraki network infrastructure.
• Manage the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues in the IT infrastructure.
• Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and how-to guides.
• Identify opportunities for automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide on-site technical support for events in and around the Lisbon office.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in IT administration, with a focus on managing and supporting Mac fleets.
• Experience with an MDM solution like Jamf Pro, Kandji, InTune, JumpCloud, or similar.
• Experience with SaaS solutions such as Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom, Atlassian Confluence/Jira/Jira Service Management.
• Comfort with core IT principles and a passion for troubleshooting technical issues.
• A solid foundation in IT and a willingness to learn and expand your knowledge.
• Enjoyment in tackling technical challenges and finding creative solutions.
• A people-person attitude and a passion for helping others with their tech needs.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Curiosity about technology and a desire to continuously learn and adapt to new advancements.
• Fluency in English
