Product Manager - French Speaking at Salsify

Salsify, a key leader in the industry, is seeking a Product Manager to join their team. The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a product roadmap and strategy for Salsify’s GDSN recipient data pool.

This role involves ensuring seamless data synchronization, enhancing product data quality, and optimizing the integration of supplier-provided data within the Salsify systems and with the retailers ingesting the data. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the solution meets GS1 industry standards and the needs of global retail customers.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Build a strong understanding of the GS1 standards for the French target market and ensure our recipient GDSN data pool solution is fully compliant with the standards.
• Stay up to date with GS1 standards, competitive data pool providers, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimal system performance.
• Oversee the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Salsify’s GDSN recipient solution, ensuring alignment with GS1 standards and retailer requirements.
• Develop deep relationships with strategic retail customers across France and North America to understand their ecosystems, document their pain points regarding evolving data model and data quality needs, and ensure a compelling roadmap is executed to meet their needs.
• Prioritize investments to support the go-to-market team and identify opportunities to grow revenue for Salsify’s GDSN recipient solution.

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

• 3-5+ years of product management, preferably with building and growing SaaS applications and Networks, with a track record of setting a vision, exciting and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of GDSN, GS1 standards, data synchronization, and PIM/MDM systems
• Proven track record of building strong cross-functional relationships with colleagues and partners and building influence within an organization brimming with strong opinions and deep expertise.
• Strong interpersonal skills: must be sharp, energetic, outspoken, and results-oriented; able to prioritize and focus in a constantly evolving environment.
• Problem-solving abilities: You're proactive in identifying issues, and you're methodical in creating solutions that address both short-term fixes and long-term stability.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and deeply understand user feedback and then amplify that learning and present trade-offs to the organization.
• Strong change management skills including sorting through ambiguity and a positive mindset about change
• An analytical mindset and the aptitude to partner with Engineering on more technical projects
• You leverage data to prioritize investments and make informed decisions that maximize impact.
• Experience with escalation management.
• Fluency in French - both spoken and written.
