SingleStore is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join their team in Pune, India. The TAM will play a crucial role in customer adoption and success by leveraging their technical expertise and customer-facing skills. This position involves collaborating with various departments, including product, field sales, engineering, and marketing.

The TAM will be responsible for developing deep, technical relationships with strategic customers, helping them utilize SingleStore's technology, and building applications that impact business operations. The role requires strong communication and documentation skills to provide executive management with insights into product and customer health.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the ongoing technical manager and SingleStore liaison for key enterprise customers.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprises mature their SingleStore capabilities.
  • Collaborate with SingleStore's marketing team to document customer solutions.
  • Solve enterprise architecture challenges, focusing on Ingest, Backup/Restore, and BI.
  • Utilize cross-functional resources to address customer needs, such as system health checks and migration assistance.
  • Manage and drive closure on customer support cases, product bugs, and enhancement requests.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with complex applications or distributed systems.
  • Experience working with customers to deploy complex solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies like SingleStore, MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle SQL, NoSQL, Key Value Stores, REST, Hadoop, and BI/ETL solutions.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Technical familiarity with data storage and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and network storage protocols.
  • Linux OS and System Administration experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM & case management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Ability to travel within the region (~25%).
  • Availability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
