Portfolio Manager - Generalist - Fundamental Long Short Equities (HK) at Maven

Maven, a proprietary trading organisation, seeks a Portfolio Manager to join its Hong Kong investment team. The role focuses on constructing and managing a fundamentally driven, market-neutral equity portfolio, delivering consistent absolute returns. The Portfolio Manager preferably focuses on a defined universe of stocks, or covering a specific sector.

Role Involves:
• Making all investment decisions.
• Constructing the full portfolio.
• Managing risk for every line within the trading book.

Candidate Requirements:
• 2+ years as a Portfolio Manager, or 5+ years as an Investment Analyst / Assistant PM.
• Proven and verifiable track record.
• Clearly defined, robust, and repeatable investment process.
• Strong research acumen.
• Ability to construct a market-neutral portfolio and manage volatility.
• Deep understanding of Asian equity markets.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Willingness to integrate into the broader team.
