Senior Software Engineer, Platform, Dash Enterprise

Plotly is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of its best-selling product, Dash Enterprise. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the product remains innovative, scalable, and competitive. The engineer will play a key role in adapting the product architecture for customer environments, building deployable solutions, and optimizing the product for portability and scalability.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and adapting product architecture for customer environments.
• Building self-contained, deployable solutions within customer-managed Kubernetes clusters.
• Enabling customer-driven deployments through design and implementation of deployment pipelines.
• Optimizing product for portability and scalability.
• Implementing robust observability tools for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Ensuring secure and compliant deployments by embedding security best practices.
• Collaborating with customers on integration to understand their infrastructure needs.
• Contributing to the evolution of the platform .
• Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in professional software development.
• Extensive experience with GoLang.
• Experience in customer-driven software development.
• Experience with the entire development lifecycle.
• Experience building and optimizing distributed systems, APIs, and scalable platforms.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud based infrastructure like Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Proven ability to lead technically challenging, cross-functional projects.
• Exceptional communication skills.
