Performance Architect Principal

Job Description

Sagent is seeking a Performance Architect Principal to enhance system efficiency and scalability. The role involves designing and implementing performance strategies and solutions, working with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, and ensuring high application performance.

The Performance Architect Principal will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing performance testing strategies and frameworks.
• Analyzing system architecture and application designs to identify performance issues.
• Designing, developing, and debugging performance tests.
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to design performance benchmarks and monitoring solutions.
• Conducting performance assessments, including load testing and stress testing.
• Recommending and implementing architectural improvements.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex performance-related issues.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in performance architecture or engineering.
• Strong understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with APIs and Performance testing benchmarks
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture is a plus.
