Job Description
Checkbook, a leading FinTech company, is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive company growth and expand its client base. The Business Development Representative will identify and reach out to potential customers, qualify leads, conduct initial outreach, and nurture relationships with prospects. Role involves:
  • Identifying and researching potential clients.
  • Conducting outbound prospecting activities.
  • Qualifying leads and assessing their suitability.
  • Understanding customer needs and communicating the value proposition.
  • Collaborating with the sales team.
  • Managing records of interactions in CRM systems.
  • Providing updates on lead generation activities.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Attending industry events and networking functions.
Requirements include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience as a Business Development Representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Understanding of FinTech products, payments, and financial technologies.
  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM tool.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally at a B2B startup
