Data Center Technical Lead

Job Description

Start Campus is seeking a Data Center Technical Lead to ensure the resilience and integrity of site operations at Europe's largest and most sustainable data ecosystem. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the Technical Lead will lead critical maintenance, manage changes, and coordinate emergency responses. The role involves training and supporting technical teams and contractors, contributing during construction and commissioning phases, and driving infrastructure improvements.Responsibilities include:

• Uptime, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems.
• Maintaining overall technical integrity and resiliency of the Data Center.
• Monitoring multiple information streams and make accurate mission-critical decisions.
• Ensuring high performance of all O&M contracts and staff.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable policies, processes, and procedures.
• Developing strategies to reduce operational costs while enhancing efficiency.

Start Campus requires:

• A degree in Engineering or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in a critical environment.
• Experience investigating failures and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience in design, construction, commissioning and/or operation of large-scale mission critical facilities or data centers.
• High proficiency of Portuguese and English.
