Airtame is looking for a Senior Browser Engineer to enhance its Chromium-based browser. The engineer will maintain, improve, and optimize the Chromium implementation on the Airtame device. The role involves developing low-level software under CPU, memory, and time constraints, requiring comfort with the Chromium codebase. The engineer will collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering.Responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of the virtual device application across Android, Windows, and Linux arm / x86.
- Exposing native capabilities through new Javascript APIs
- Maintaining, updating, and improving our Chromium implementation
- Collaborating with the VP of Engineering and frontend team.
Requirements include:
- Experience with open-source browser projects like Webkit or Chromium.
- Experience developing performant C or C++ software.
- Understanding of web technologies like Javascript and CSS.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android).
- Excellent English communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
