Solutions Architect at DFINITY

DFINITY is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join their team in Zurich. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving innovation in the development of Open Internet Services on ICP, collaborating with developers, entrepreneurs, and enterprises to shape the future of software. The Solutions Architect will identify and address gaps in infrastructure, tooling, standards, and best practices within the ICP and broader crypto ecosystem.

As a key member of the Growth team, the Solutions Architect will work closely with the Developer Relations Team, R&D, and external developers and development agencies.

The Solutions Architect role involves:

• Understanding the goals of promising builders and helping them succeed.
• Identifying gaps in the ICP platform, infrastructure, and standards.
• Addressing gaps by working with Product and R&D, as well as external developers via Request for Proposals (RFPs).
• Leading and contributing to Technical Working Groups.
• Distilling best practices for building on ICP and sharing them in technical documentation.
• Engaging with developers in the broader crypto ecosystem.

Requirements for this role include:

• A degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer and/or architect.
• Proficiency in at least one of JavaScript, Rust, or Motoko.
• A strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem.
• Ability to engage in active listening.
