Operations Data Analyst - Student at Forter

Forter is seeking a part-time Operations Data Analyst to join its analytics operations team. The company provides real-time, automated fraud protection for online merchants, enabling them to focus on business opportunities while staying ahead of fraudsters. Forter's solution combines cyber intelligence, identity analysis, and behavioral data for multi-layered fraud detection.

The candidate will do:

• Perform complicated data analysis tasks to quantify Forter’s impact.
• Manage an operational pipeline of merchant tickets and alerts.
• Design, code, and test adjustments to the production decisioning engine in Python.
• Collaborate with fraud analysts, customer success managers, and customer support to resolve customer issues and optimize Forter’s products.

Requirements:

• Able to turn broad business questions into the right queries.
• Know how to get things done.
• Technically oriented.
• Great multitasking skills.
• Coding in a scripting language, preferably Python.
• SQL experience with complicated queries from multiple sources- advantage.
• Open to bachelor's students with at least 4 semesters remaining before graduation.
