Job Description
Inworld, a leading AI technology provider, is seeking an IT Security & Compliance Lead to join their team. This role is based in Mountain View, California, and requires candidates to be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate. The IT Security & Compliance Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing security and compliance frameworks, leading security awareness initiatives, and managing security tools. They will also conduct risk assessments, respond to security incidents, and maintain security documentation.
Role Involves:
- Designing and implementing security and compliance frameworks.
- Leading security awareness initiatives.
- Collaborating with engineering and legal teams.
- Managing security tools and ensuring proper configuration.
- Running risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents.
- Owning access management systems and enforcing least privilege principles.
- Maintaining security and compliance documentation.
- Tracking data usage and endpoint security.
- Monitoring regulatory landscapes and implementing new compliance frameworks.
- Providing system administration support.
- Mentoring others and driving best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, cybersecurity, or system administration.
- Experience managing internal and external audits.
- Hands-on experience with security tools.
- Familiarity with corporate IT policies.
- Experience managing user access and VPNs.
- Track record of responding to security incidents.
- Proficient in administering systems across Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
- Ability to manage hardware security.
