Email Marketing Manager (Johannesburg ) at HyperionDev

HyperionDev, a prominent online coding bootcamp provider, is seeking a skilled Email Marketing Manager to enhance lead conversion rates. This role involves conceptualizing and implementing CRM initiatives to nurture leads throughout their purchasing journey.

The Email Marketing Manager will collaborate with brand managers and creative teams to develop impactful email campaigns. They will also work closely with performance and engineering teams to ensure optimal list hygiene, segmentation, and email delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Liaising with brand managers and creative teams
• Working closely with the performance and engineering teams
• Maintaining the overall communication calendar
• Increasing the lead to sale conversion rate
• Planning, building, and sending out all email marketing communication
• Aligning with admissions teams to ensure lead scoring algorithms are providing guidance of hot, mild and cold leads to contact

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience managing CRM initiatives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or communication
• HTML and API knowledge
• 3+ years of experience as a content editor or owning mass / direct email
• 1+ years of experience in direct brand messaging
• A qualification in digital marketing, creative writing, journalism or a related field
• Experience using automation and analysis to improve email metrics
• Practical experience with briefing content to a creative studio
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing and its key success metrics
• A track record of exceeding targets
