Jencap is seeking a New Business Underwriter/Producer to join their team in Alpharetta, GA. This role focuses on new business development, managing and growing a book of business, and building client relationships. Jencap is one of the largest wholesale insurance intermediaries in the United States. The role involves:
- Effectively developing and presenting proposals.
- Negotiating and executing production goals.
- Developing prospects through solicitation, referral, target marketing, and industry affiliations.
- Securing information and recommendations for prospective accounts.
- Coordinating, presenting, and processing new business.
- Documenting conversations and materials in the electronic file.
- Assisting in resolving coverage, audits, endorsements, accounting, claims, or marketing issues.
The requirements are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of Underwriting, Broker, or Sr. Underwriting experience.
- Experience in Packaged & Monoline Polices; P&C, Transportation and Garage.
- Experience in developing new business.
- Willingness to travel within territory.
- Maintain state-issued P&C license.
