Back-End Software Engineer - Python / AI / ML at Knowde

Knowde is seeking an experienced Python Engineer to join its team. This role focuses on AI and Machine Learning within the context of a two-sided marketplace for the chemical industry. The engineer will be critical in connecting systems and applications, building system architecture, and contributing to the AI chatbot platform and other AI solutions.

The Back-End Software Engineer will be responsible for:

• Leading the development and optimization of AI RAG agents.
• Ensuring seamless integration with OpenAI Chat API through Langchain, Qdrant vector store, and Elasticsearch cluster.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data processing pipelines.
• Integrating internal APIs into the chatbot.
• Contributing to the overall system architecture.
• Writing clean and efficient code.

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5 years of commercial experience in the Python ecosystem.
• 2 years of commercial experience in machine learning, data science, natural language processing, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AI libraries.
• Proficiency in data science tools and libraries.
• Experience with vector stores, preferably Qdrant.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Familiarity with data processing pipelines.
