Job Description
Jencap is seeking a New Business Underwriter/Producer to focus on new business development, managing and retaining a growing book of business, and building client relationships. The role is based in Sandy Springs, GA. The candidate will work with a collaborative and driven team, with a focus on growth and development opportunities.
Role involves:
- Developing and presenting proposals.
- Negotiating new and renewal production goals.
- Developing and pursuing prospects.
- Securing information for prospective accounts.
- Coordinating and processing new business.
- Documenting conversations and materials.
- Assisting in resolving coverage issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of underwriting, broker, or senior underwriting experience.
- Experience with multi-line binding.
- Experienced in Packaged & Monoline Polices; P&C, Transportation and Garage.
- Experience in developing new business and growing a book of business.
- Willingness to travel within the territory.
- State-issued P&C license.
