New Business Underwriter/Producer - P&C Binding, Colorado or Arizona

Job Description

Jencap is seeking a New Business Underwriter/Producer to focus on new business development. The role involves marketing, managing, and retaining a growing book of business while building client relationships. This person will work hybrid from the Broomfield, CO office or remotely.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and presenting proposals.
• Negotiating and executing production goals.
• Developing prospects through various channels.
• Securing information and presenting proposals.
• Coordinating and processing new business.
• Documenting conversations and materials.
• Assisting in resolving coverage issues.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Underwriting, Broker, or Sr. Underwriting experience.
• Experience with packaged and monoline policies, including P&C, Transportation, and Garage.
• Experience in new business development.
• Willingness to travel.
• Maintaining a state-issued P&C license.
